![DJ Jazzy Jeff - Return of The Magnificent [Original Samples]](http://kevinnottingham.com/myblog/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/folder5.jpg)
There have been a lot of sample collections coming out, between the work I’ve done here and the sample collection from other sites such as Hip Hop Is Read, Lyrics2Go, and Bulldog’s Music Site. Most of them have been based on classic hip hop albums. I wanted to do one on a more recent album; one of my favorite albums from last year… DJ Jazzy Jeff’s The Return of The Magnificent.
This album was produced entirely by Jazzy Jeff and includes guests such as Big Daddy Kane, Rhymefest, Jean Grae, and Method Man. To me, the production on this album was tight and because Jeff used some very well known samples, this makes for a great sample collection. Enjoy! And if you like the samples, make such you cop Return of The Magnificent!

One of the best sample sets I’ve ever seen in my life.
just one question kevin, all i known don’t use samples? =O. it’s really surprising, cause it’s one of the best songs of the album. Really nice set and thanks for the allen iverson speech, i love that xDD.
You know what? I may have rushed this sample set. I think there are a few that I’m missing. I’m sure “All I Know” samples something, not sure what yet. And I know I missed the sample for “The Garden”. It’s a Bob James song (”Angela”). If anyone knows any others, maybe we can do this one right.

Yeah, this set wouldn’t be complete without the “Practice” speech! Took me forever to find it too!
You forgot Peter Brown ’s Do you want to get funky with me as the sample for
Go See The Doctor 2K7″ but i like the set.
