Yo, it’s always a good time to be in New York City, but next month there are two shows coming up that’ll make you wish you were there!
Same Plate and Hidden City Entertainment Present:
Detroit’s finest Royce Da 5′9 (known for his work with DJ Premier, Puffy, The Bar Exam, etc.), Keith Murray, Torae, and Kaze, along with many others, in the first true celebration of hip hop culture in 2008! March 9th at The Knitting Factory will begin a series of events bringing back real, live hip hop to the city of New York. Doors will open at 7 PM with the show kicking off at 8 PM sharply.
This show will be hosted by Silent Knight (Rawkus 50) and will feature additional performances by Emilio Rojas, Don Cerino, J The S, and DXA; DJ Ings will be holding down the 1’s and 2’s most of the night, and plenty of special guests will be in attendance. Come out, enjoy, and also pay tribute to the passing of one music’s all time greats, The Notorious B.I.G…expect plenty of special guests!!!
