How ’bout some more 9th Wonder today? Thomas and I have been working on this set for a little while and although this set is missing a couple of tracks, I decided to go ahead and put it up. If anyone wants to help, the missing tracks are annotated below. I was also unable to find a sample credit for “The Get-Up”. But why delay this set any further?

Released on February 25, 2003, The Listening is the debut album for North Carolina group Little Brother. Listening to the production on this album and then to the samples, you can truly appreciate 9th Wonder’s talent. In my opinion, no one chops an old soul record quite the way 9th Wonder does. Why this album never received any mainstream play, is beyond me. The Listening will forever be a classic in my book.

Yeah, I gotta keep diggin’ the complete that Getback set. Sources are hard to come by for that one. And no em, you’re not being crazy. G-Unit’s album has some great samples. I started working on it months ago and have like 3 or 4 more songs to make it complete. So we’ll release that one soon.
