Thought I’d through this one up to compliment the latest remix contest. I would have had it up sooner, but I had problems finding a couple of tracks (indicated below) and also had problems finding a high quality album cover.
Released on November 12, 1996, Hard Core is the debut album from female emcee Lil’ Kim. Executively produced by the Notorious B.I.G. (who wrote most of Lil’ Kim’s rhymes), this album has a lot a hot beats. This collection of samples is worth a download just for the first few tracks alone.

props…that album does have some hot beats
Nice. Was hoping to hear that Drugs sample.
I’ve been looking forever for the Instrumentals to Hardcore and can’t find them. I’m sure they’re out there somewhere.
Thanks for the music, man!
“I’m convinced man something really wrong with these hoes, I thought Lil Kim was hot until she started f**kin’ with her nose” (50 Cent, “Love Me” 2002)
Prior to all of the surgery’s she was the “hottest chick in the game.” B.I.G. had a couple, Faith, Kim, and Charlie Baltimore.
Someone post the original version “Queen Bitch” that has B.I.G. spittin the rhymes contained in the song. I have a copy, but haven’t found it yet on the hard drive.
I would not be suprised if the Drugs sample is actually the soul mann and the brother’s cover instead of Sylvester’s.
I thought the cut “Bumpy’s Lament” was by Isaac Hayes. I’m pretty sure.
Nah, it’s “Bumpies Lament”… totally different song than Isaac Hayes’ “Bumpy’s Lament”. From what I understand anyway.
in fact, the “drugs” sample is from soul mann and the brothers’ “Bumpy’s Lament” and i have that sample and am willing to contribute to this compilation.
