Beg For Mercy: Original Samples

Beg For Mercy: Original Samples

Say what you will about Curtis & Company, but G-Unit’s debut album Beg For Mercy is a banger. When the album was released in November 2003, it was in constant rotation in my CD player. What did it for me, was the overall production of the album. One thing that I admire about 50 Cent, is that he knows how to pick a hot beat. Just listen to his first two albums… the beats are hot! And Beg For Mercy is not exception.

I’ve been working on this set for quite some time (at least three months off and on). Quite a few of the tracks have some real soulful production, but when compiling this sample set I found the mix of samples to be more eclectic. In addition, most of the samples were damn never impossible to track down. The sample credits I came across were either incomplete or often times just incorrect. Then a lot of the sampled tracks were so obscure, finding the actual song was mind numbing. Thanks, once again, to Thomas and Goon who helped greatly with this set. Unfortunately, three samples are still missing from this set, but I don’t wanna sit on this one any longer….. enjoy!

Another Rapidshare….Awesome and Thank You. You’re right, love him or hate him, 50 picks some hot beats.

But hey, Kev…. I got some requests. Just Throwin’ these out there, in case you get bored, or like/want a challenge:

Vakill: Worst Fears Confirmed( I can give you the link to DL this if you don’t have it, awesome album)

    Evidence: The Weatherman

And Lastly, I’m not sure how many samples are on it(Wikipedia Listed 4), but Eminems Presents: The Reup

Yeah, I’ve been leaning more towards Rapidshare lately (more reliable), especially with the sets that are under 100mb.

I’m not up on Vakill or Evidence… I’ll have to check those albums out. Some Eminem would be cool I guess. We got a huge list of upcoming sample sets, but there’s always room for requests.

Awesome sample set Kevin, good work. Agree totally with 50’s ability to pick some soulful beats!!!

Get Rich Or Die Trying OST would make a good set,,,,

Royal - That Vakill has been in my rotation since 06. Great Production. The problem is that it is so deep underground that a sample list will be IMPOSSIBLE to find short of emailing the producers themselves.

I’ve had the album since forever and never noticed Yayo’s face on the wall.
