Kidz In The Hall Album Release Party in NYC

Kidz In The Hall Album Release Party in NYC–KIDZ IN THE HALL Celebrate Release of THE IN CROWD with Live Performance at S.O.B.’s May 20th

The Ivy League rap duo, Kidz In The Hall–Graduates of the University of Pennsylvania–met with Congress this week to discuss digital copyright laws and their effect on the ever-changing music industry. “We need to talk to more people [in power] who don’t hold the same ideas as we do about sharing music and reforming copyright on the internet,” says Naledge, the MC of the group. “The days of naïveté (for artists) are over. [Artists today] understand the business, the issues and we are willing to fight for our rights…Most independent artists are more hands on and understand the importance of their digital rights. It is easy to care about Digital Freedom when these issues pay for your life.”

The Kidz In The Hall stopped by MTV’s TRL this week to discuss the release of THE IN CROWD, which they will be celebrating with a release party and performance at the legendary New York venue S.O.B.’s on May 20th. The sophomore set is entirely produced by Kidz In The Hall’s Double-O and will feature some of the most prevalent artists in hip-hop today, like Gym Class Heroes, Little Brother, Talib Kweli, and The Clipse.

Kidz In The Hall’s surging success has even caught the eye of Presidential Candidate Barack Obama, who has featured their hit song, “Work to Do” in his campaign effort.

Fresh off performances at this years’ SXSW Music Conference in Austin, Texas and at the Winter Music Conference in Miami, Florida, not to mention appearances on MTV and Capitol Hill, Kidz In The Hall come to S.O.B.’s to celebrate their momentous album release.
