Killagram: The Foreign Exchange

Killagram: The Foreign Exchange

Killagram, born Gordon Jamieson, who is half Colombian, half Scottish was born and raised in London. The talented emcee and producer has already given his native UK a taste of his clever rhymes and production skills, and is now bringing his gift to the States. Killagram brings international to Hip Hop, by integrating his multi-ethnic background, his UK upbringing and his US influences into his music.

Killagram’s journey began shortly after his 17th birthday. A journey that would profoundly impact the rest of his life. Inspired to explore his own talents, Killagram first put pen to paper at the age of 18 ultimately embarking on the transformation from spectator to performer which was now well underway. His ability to evoke his emotions through his manipulation of words and music was almost effortless, which lead to increased attention from his peers. It wasn’t long before he was dubbed the Killagram, as a way of figuratively describing his talents as having the weight of a Kilagram because of the depth and impact of his verses.

While in the UK the Killagram made his way onto the underground hip hop scene by showcasing his skills as part of a rap duo with fellow emcee K.I.N.E.T.I.K.  His hard work has been noted by legends in the industry such as Universal Music Group’s CEO Doug Morris and music pioneer Steve Rifkind, founder of Loud records and most recently Street Records Corporation (SRC).

Some of Killagram’s own influences in the industry have also recognized his abilities on the mic including The Wu-Tang Clan’s own RZA and even members of the legendary group responsible for helping him discover his talent, Cypress Hill.

Killagram is now making his presence known in the States. Currently residing in NYC he is making the debut of his long awaited mixtape, titled The Foreign Exchange, an international event, with distribution in France, London and Colombia. The mixtape includes collaborations with international DJ 2late and mixtape king DJ Whoo Kid.
