9th Wonder: Black Is Back [Original Samples]

9th Wonder: Black Is Back [Original Samples]

One of my favorite Black Album remixes, next to Pete Rock’s is 9th Wonder’s Black Is Back.  Being the only producer from the original Black Album to remix it front-to-back (who else wanted to hear a Just Blaze remix album?), 9th put a whole new spin on The Black Album.

Like God’s Stepson, this sample set has been in our queue for quite some time.  Thomas and I didn’t really want to release this until it was finished, but since we’ve been sitting on it for so long we figure we might as well put out what we have.  I’m slightly embarrased to say that this set is missing sample listings for 5 tracks (Encore, Dirt Off Your Shoulder, Moment of Clarity, 99 Problems, and Public Service Announcement).  So if anyone has any info on any of the samples for these tracks, please help us out. For now, enjoy the other eight!

Yeah, the Brown Album is dope too. Kev Brown is that dude! Look around for the Pete Rock one. I think it was just called The Black Album (Pete Rock Remixes). That one is truly dope.
