9th Wonder: God’s Stepson [Original Samples]

9th Wonder: God’s Stepson [Original Samples]

This is the remix album that started it all!  Released through internet outlets in 2003, God’s Stepson was the first in the trend of homemade remix projects, which reached fever pitch with Jay-Z’s The Black Album remixes. It was well received by critics and fans alike for its re-interpretation of, what many considered to be, a return-to-form album from Nas. In particular, the album is responsible for the popularity of remixing whole albums back-to-front, and also for establishing 9th Wonder amongst the premier league of hip hop producers.

Thomas has been working on this one for probably about six months now and we just finally finished it!  Classic 9th Wonder samples here for you 9th Wonder Bread Heads.

Not sure why your getting those links…They’ll be fix for yall.

Yeah, sorry about the links. I don’t know what’s going on. Unfortunately I won’t be able to check on it until this evening when I get home. Hopefully the links will resolve themselves before them. I know 40 people have downloaded each set so far, so the links were working at one time.

anyone still having a problem with the links? Unfortunately I can’t check now, but Rapidshare tells me the downloads have gone up from 40 to 58 in the past few hours…. so somebody’s downloading them.

Last night, I kept getting a “The requested page was not found on urlcash.net” message when I clicked on the DL link. But now I’m finally getting sent to Rapidshare. This is wicked since God’s Stepson is one of 9th’s truly best and revolutionary works (with a hilarious album cover to boot). Thanks in advance for the great work, guys. And if I somehow someway come across the sample for Warrior Song (9th Wonder Remix), I’ll be sure to pass on the info (don’t hold your breath, though).
