That’s right ya’ll… you knew we were gonna hop on this 9th Wonder produced joint! We’ve actually been working on it for a few months in anticipation of the retail release of Jean Grae’s Jeanius. And the album is finally here! In stores now, as of this last Tuesday.
The album itself isn’t much different from the copy that leaked a few years ago. The track order is the same, but on a few of the songs they decided to replay the sample using live instrumentation. Don’t worry, it doesn’t distract from the original version. At most times it enhances the tracks. But anyway, this ain’t a review of Jeanius… these are the samples! There are two tracks we could not find sample listings for, but I think you’ll find this is one sweet collection.
Love the fact that Jean and 9th paid homage to classic hip hop album covers! We couldn’t decide which one to include, so we included all four. Anyway, enough talking… get yo 9th fix! Oh, and for all you 9th fanatics… we got more 9th wonder samples coming in the next few days. That’s all I’m gonna say…

The retail version is just a black cover that has Jeanius on it with produced by 9th Wonder. The covers above are on the inside…at least the copy I picked up from Best Buy (the only one in the store).
Are you serious?!?!? This is highly disappointing… I was planning on picking up all 4 for my collection. Anybody have a pic of the black cover?
I wanted the Raekwon cover.
Thanks alot for posting this sample collection. The Emotions song used on American pimp is ridicolous. Keep up the great work!!
I ‘preciate this a great deal
A little return present for the community.
“Larry’s Theme” by Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs.

Welcome back Goon! Thanks for the present… it’s complete! I gotta know where you find this though; we looked high and low.
As always Goon comes through to help with the clean up!
Hey I love that you posted these samples, but I wish I had watermarked that when I was in Photoshop. It’s amazing how many people yanked that 4set. Anyway, nice blog, and thanks for using my image!
Sup Steal-Bars? I don’t know what you’re talking about… your image? Are you the creator of the classic hip hop covers that Jean and 9th did? If so… props. Or are you talking about the 4 covers put together in one image? If so, sorry man, don’t mean to bust your bubble but I did that all myself using the images posted above… not too difficult to do.
Oh I see Steal-Bars… is this the image you did?

If so, check the order of the images… not the same.
