Maybe tracks based purely on 80's samples, but to me it's kinda like Kanye singing Elton John's Greatest Hits. But I do realize that it takes all kinds and my opinion is only MY opinion. Its the fact that a) Phonte, who has a very unique voice is singing and b) there is a certainly hip hop feel to each of the songs. As i said with the review, they make the tracks their own even if they are just re-doing the whole thing, they obviously have their unique spots. I don't think being a fan of little brother has anything to do with liking or disliking this album ouch my friend… that’s a little harsh.
