One thing that I love more than dropping a new sample set on you guys, is dropping an exclusive album release. A few months ago, we brought you the premiere of Spectac & 9th Wonder’s Corner of Spec & 9th. Now, thanks to my man MIDI Marc, we have another exclusive for you — N’Telligence’s […]

Here’s the other Shyne sample set and the last one for today. Props to Thomas for bangin’ these out! We got a ton of requests and a long list that we’re working on… enjoy!
July 31, 2008 – 10:39 am
Someone requested some Shyne samples. Here’s the first album. Second one coming up next!
July 31, 2008 – 10:19 am
Here are the samples from Wu-Tang member, Inspectah Deck’s 1999 solo debut — Uncontrolled Substance.
July 31, 2008 – 8:53 am
Prodigy’s solo debut, released in 2000. Lots of great production on here from The Alchemist, Just Blaze, and Havoc. Always interesting to hear the original samples, but this set doesn’t have much replay value… personal opinion. I know a lot of people have been wanting this set though, so here it is!
July 29, 2008 – 2:14 pm
We got a ton more sample sets to put up, but can’t get em out fast enough! Here’s a small set to hold you all over. Internal Affairs was the 1999 solo debut from Pharoahe Monch. Incredible album, but because of the illegal use of the “Godzilla Theme Song” as a sample in “Simon Says”, […]

Another exclusive right here… straight from Small Professor himself! These are the instrumentals to the incredible remix album Small Pro did for Has-Lo a few months ago. These are a must have! Hot beats!

Since we’re on the topic of American Gangster remixes, you may remember one of my favorites from the bunch… Small Professor’s Crooklyn Gangster.
Small Pro’s a huge fan of our Diggin’ in Da Crates series and he recently hit me up with the original samples he used for Crooklyn Gangster. Lots of great stuff in here… […]

Hot off the press, we got an exclusive from Nobody Famous! This track is off his upcoming Order Up! Vol 2 - Biscuits & Gravy and features Chris Young and Wax.
If you’re not up on Nobody Famous, check out the interview we did a few weeks ago. Biscuits & Gravy should be out soon, but […]

One of hip hop’s new rising stars has a ton of material floating around and he hasn’t even released his debut album yet! We’re talking about Wale, the hip hop go-go’er out of our nation’s capital Washington D.C.
Being one of my favorite new emcees, I put together a mixtape of all his best material from […]

Finishing up the last Def Squad sample set we had in the works, is Redman’s debut album… Whut? Thee Album. This album is classic and put Redman on the map as one of the top hip hop artists of the 90s. Produced mostly by Erick Sermon, Redman actually co-produced most of the tracks himself.
This set […]
July 22, 2008 – 4:51 pm
Continuing on with another Def Quad sample set, we compiled the samples from Keith Murray’s debut album. Released in 1994, The Most Beautifullest Thing In This World was hot primarily because it was mostly produced by Erick Sermon. You’ll notice that this sample set coupled with Sermon’s No Pressure sample set make for one nice […]
July 22, 2008 – 7:51 am
No Pressure is the debut solo album from Erick Sermon. It was the first album that the former EPMD member released after 1992’s Business Never Personal. It was well-received and is probably his most popular album. Although the album’s goal may have been for Sermon to establish a solo career, some feel that it sounded […]

The ROC is in the building!!! It’s been almost 2 months since we posted the Kanye West sample collection and I promised you Just Blaze next. Well, here it is! Not quite as big as the Kanye set, this collection contains 60 songs that have been sampled by Just Blaze in his productions. This set […]
July 18, 2008 – 8:23 am
We are finally getting this set out there! The Ownerz is Gang Starr’s sixth and final album, released in 2003. Thomas and I have been working on this set for what seems like forever. It was highly requested a few months ago when we were compiling some of the other Gang Starr sets. Hip-Hop Is […]

Like him or not, DMX was a force to reckon with 10 years ago when he dropped his Ruff Ryder debut, It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot. His style was a bit different compared to the Bad Boy image that was prevalent at the time. Producers such as Swizz Beatz, Irv Gotti, P.K., and Dame […]

Produced mostly by NO I.D, One Day It’ll All Make Sense is the third album released by Common. This album is one of my favorites from Common and we have been working on this sample set for quite some time, making sure to get the credits for every single track. Not sure if we got […]

Ok, here’s the last 9th Wonder sample set I have for a while. This right here is an incredible album and for those not familiar with Skyzoo should definitely pick it up.
Not much to say about this… just solid 9th production. We’re missing three sample listings for this set, so hook us up if you […]
July 12, 2008 – 9:46 am
Just a little break from the 9th Wonder samples we’ve been posting lately, you may look at this one and say “WTF?”, but ya’ll know you were bumpin’ Mase back in ‘97! I actually put this one together at the request of someone here on the site and I’m glad I did… this is a […]

I think this is our first sample collection of a mixtape, although some consider this to be an album. But hey, it’s Little Brother and you know we’re huge fans over here! The Chittlin Circuit 1.5 was put out by Little Brother in June 2005 to promote The Minstrel Show. The 1.5 is there because […]
